News & Articles UniFest at Galgotia University Draws 30,000 Students; Darshan Raval and Ali Merchant Set the Stage Alive yuvajunction.co.in 11 April 2026 0 0 Read Time: 1 Minute, 15 Second Festive Spirit Peaks at Galgotia University as Star Performances Enthrall Students Greater Noida, April 2026: UniFest 2026, held at Galgotia University from April 7 to April 9, turned into a major attraction as live performances by singer Darshan Raval and DJ Ali Merchant kept students energized throughout the event. The three-day festival saw participation from more than 120 universities across the country, with an overall footfall of around 30,000 students. In addition, more than 1,400 registrations were recorded for various competitions from different institutions. Over 1,000 participants took part in technical competitions, while cultural events saw more than 100 registrations. Media-related activities attracted over 150 participants, and more than 300 registrations were recorded under miscellaneous categories. UniFest 2026 featured competitions across a wide range of categories including drama, music, dance, glamour, fine arts, design and digital arts, literature, gaming, tech venture, and innovation and entrepreneurship. These activities reflected a blend of traditional Indian art and modern technology. Events such as debates, poetry, and spoken word provided a platform for creative expression, while design and digital arts showcased Indian culture through contemporary tools. Students from leading institutions such as IIT Madras, University of Delhi, and University of Lucknow also participated in the festival. The event was supported by brands like McDonald’s, Google Gemini AI, Bacca Bucci, and Bevzilla. UniFest 2026 offered students a platform to showcase their technical skills, creativity, and cultural talent, while also encouraging interaction and collaboration among participants from different institutions.
